Volunteers

We need all parents to get involved at some level in the FHLL program.

Foothills Little League requires the parents of players to volunteer in some capacity for our league to be successful.  Many opportunities exist for parents to get involved. We expect parents to fulfill a role that is suitable for them.  FHLL survives with the commitment of parent volunteers taking on anything from coaching, field maintenance, uniform/equipment managers, team managers, board of directors, casino and the list goes on.

Prior to the 2012 season starting FHLL is looking for interested parents to take on a few roles that are currently vacant: We need to fill these positions as soon as possible. Thanks for considering taking on a role with FHLL!

Instructional Division (6-8 yrs)  Coordinator

Draft balanced teams based on information from the registrar. Assign coaches and assistant coaches per team.  Liaise with: equipment coordinator (needs supplied), diamond scheduler (game and practice times for each team), field coordinator (field/facility issues addressed). Help to organize a final fun day for all the instructional teams.

AAA Division (9-10 yrs) Coordinator

Draft balanced teams based on information from the registrar. Assign coaches and assistant coaches per team. Work with other leagues (if interlocking) to determine schedules and playing rules. Liaise with: equipment coordinator (needs supplied), diamond scheduler (game and practice times for each team), field coordinator (field/facility issues addressed). Handle any season disputes between teams and help to clarify rules. Help coordinate a post-season All Star team.

Communications Coordinator

Coordinate our pamphlet, road signs, and newsletter recruiting.  Ideal for those busy in the summer months as this really only involves a bit of effort from January to March. New ideas on how we get the word out there about Little League Baseball would be welcome indeed!  UPDATE OK this is mostly done for the pre-season, but it would be great if someone was willing to step into this role and keep the momentum going for the season and post-season!
